Dr. Martens, First and Forever is Lovely

Social media is not just about pushing out content. Social media is also a tool to solicit consumer feedback. And Dr. Martens is doing a wonderful job of incorporating both.  Using the hash tag, #firstandforever, the iconic brand is soliciting consumer’s stories via twitter.

It is then mapping the stories on its site and using the wonderful, rebel with a pretty face, Agyness Deyn to tell her own “first and forever” stories via youtube.  Video Below.

 

Stylized, sleek, and a little daring, the campaign reflects the product’s key attributes and its larger value. I remember my first Dr. Martens, and I remember my first love. The two are unforgettable, just like a good iconic brand. More at the Dr. Martens site.
